Lake George

is an endorheic lake in south-western New South Wales, Australia. It is approximately 40 kilometres north-east of Canberra located adjacent to the Federal Highway en route to Goulburn and Sydney.

I found this place by accident. It was on my drive to Canberra, having stopped by for a lunch break, it was this vase huge openness of plains, I only realised it used to be a lake and its now dried due to droughts.

I deployed by drone in the gale wind, I guess that’s one of the main reason wind farms were set up in this location due to its openness.
